OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

  • THE ATHLETE IS THE MAIN DRIVER OF SUCCESS. Seek feedback from caring people who know you well. Self-perception can be limited
  • BE FACTUAL. Identify specific behaviors that indicate whether the skill has been mastered or not. For example, "I train frequently but without enough intensity to make significant progress." If you are unsure, it is better not to say anything.
  • Even the best people do NOT KNOW EVERYTHING.
  • IT IS IMPORTANT TO RECOGNIZE AND SPECIFY YOUR STRENGTHS to build a strong foundation.
  • TAKE A "STEP BY STEP" APPROACH and focus on one objective at a time to guarantee success. Choose one of the 9 skills to develop over the next few months.
  • SET AN AMBITIOUS AND REALISTIC PROGRESS OBJECTIVE. Identify indicators of success that answer the question: "How will I know if I have reached my goals?"
  • IDENTIFY VERY CONCRETE ACTIONS for progress and define them over time. Don't stop at the diagnostic stage.
  • ACCEPT THAT PROGRESS TAKES TIME and may not happen immediately.
  • TAKE TIME TO APPRECIATE YOUR PROGRESS.
